What we collect, and what we do not
This site collects only what it needs. What you type into the prayer box never leaves your phone.
What this website collects, what it deliberately does not, and what you can do about it.

What we collect
What you type into our contact form. Your name, email, phone number and message are sent to the church's inbox and used only to reply to you. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising. The form is delivered by Formspree.
Website statistics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies in your browser and records things like the page address, browser type and approximate location at city level. What we see is counts, not identities.
Advertising performance. The church runs non profit ads through Google Ad Grants. If you arrive from an ad, Google Ads records actions such as tapping the phone number or opening YouTube, so we can tell whether the ads are useful.
One thing we deliberately do not collect
Whatever you type into the prayer box never leaves your phone. That feature runs entirely in your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and the church cannot see it. You can write anything there, including things you would not want anyone to know.
Third parties
- Google Analytics and Google Ads. How Google uses this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
- YouTube. Videos are embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, so YouTube sets no tracking cookie until you press play.
- Formspree. Delivers the contact form.
- Cloudflare. Hosting and security.
Cookies
This site uses two kinds: Google Analytics statistics cookies, and one small record kept in your own browser that remembers how many times you have used the prayer box today. The second one is never sent anywhere and disappears if you clear your browser data.
Children
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Questions about children's Sunday school should come from a parent or guardian.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what you sent through the form, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the CCPA. Email abmcla@gmail.com or call (626) 744-7764.
