黎彼得牧師正式 九月一日上任成為永愛教會顧問牧師，並得到王東牧師從德州至函祝賀。救主堂當日中午聖餐崇拜歡迎及祝福黎牧師上任，王玉瑛牧師請客以示敬意。李靈牧師及柯長老上週也邀請黎牧師及師母共進午餐，以感謝他們對教會的委身。

當天晚上黎牧師與事奉兄弟姐妹一起享用由長老會請客的晚膳，並於八時正黎牧師開紿為全聖經每週逐卷查考要義。當晚有二十多位兄弟姐妹到會，各人受益良多。在九時正大家專心為教會事宜禱告，並在九時半散會。

Brief Bio

Married to Ruth for 47 years with 3 grown children Theodore, Timothy and Tina.

Received 5 advanced degrees, 4 of which are from seminaries, including Fuller and Reformed Theological Seminary.

Ordained as Christian minister in 1968. Served for the last 34 years as the Senior Pastor of True  Light Presbyterian Church. Gifted preacher, Bible teacher and pastoral counseling. Planted 4 daughter churches. Strong missions promotion. Preaching and Bible teaching 3 times a year in China since 1994.


Inter-Church Services and Ministries:
1. One of the founding members of North America Congress of Chinese Evangelization (NACOCE) in 1969.  NACOCE evolved to become CCCOWE-USA.
2. Board member of Chinese Coordination Center of World Evangelization (CCCOWE, Hong Kong).
3. Chairperson of Asian American Council of PCUSA.
4. Chairperson of Greater Los Angeles Chinese Ministerial Association (G.L.A.C.M.A.)
5. Principal, True Light Chinese School
6. Original organizer of annual conference on Evangelizing Chinese worldwide (annual meeting held in China).
7. Past chairperson of the Board of Kairos Communication Services International.
8. Teaching at Bible Seminaries in Hong Kong, Los Angeles and China.
9. Board member, Logos Evangelical Theological Seminary, Los Angeles
